FAQs for Bracket Order

What happens if I start trailing at a price higher than the market?

In the case of Leg1 Buy orders, if you set "Start Trailing at When the Market Price Reaches" above the Leg 1, then the trigger price will be followed until it reaches that price. In the same way, Leg1 Sell orders can be placed at "Start Trailing at When Price Reaches" and then trigger price will be trailed once it reaches that price.

For example,

You can place an order for 100 qty ABC at Rs.100 and keep Rs.105 under "Start trailing at When price Reaches". The trigger price will begin getting trailed when the LTP crosses Rs.105. Stop loss will be Rs.100 (105-5) If you place a Sell order for 100 qtys of ABC at Rs.100, with Rs.95 spread under "Start Trailing At When Price Reaches", then the trigger price will begin getting trailed when the LTP crosses Rs. 95 and Stop loss will be listed as Rs.98 (95 + 3)
