If the net worth of the sponsor is high ,is this a guarantee for a good return ?

Any mutual fund scheme's offer document must include information about the financial performance of the sponsor, including their net worth over a period of three year. Investors should only know the track record and financial performance of the sponsoring company for the mutual fund. The sponsor's net worth does not necessarily mean the scheme will yield better returns, or that the sponsor would compensate for any NAV drops.
