What maintenance charges are there for a demat account? Is there any processing fees or hidden charges on transactions I make on a demat account?

Folio maintenance charges is also known as maintenance charges and are generally levied upfront.

A transaction fee is charged to credit/debit securities from an account. This fee is calculated monthly. While for each transaction SBI charges a flat fees, some DPs  charge for both while some charges only for debiting securities.
