What does Transporter ID means ?

TRANSIN, or Transporter ID, is a 15-digit unique number generated automatically by EWB for unregistered transportation companies. It is generated once the transporter enrolls in the system. This system is similar to GSTIN format, and is based upon state code, PAN, and Check sum digit. The TRANSIN, or Transporter ID can be shared with clients. They may enter this number when generating ewaybills to assign goods to him.
