To obtain the PAN card for proprietorship concern and partnership concern, what are the required documents?

Proprietorship

A PAN Card is required for Proprietorship.

Partnership Firm/ LLP (Limited Liability Partnership).

Partnership firms and LLPs (Limited Liability Partnerships) can apply for a Permanent Account Number or PAN Card. For Individuals, the Application Form (Form 49A), for Permanent Account Number or PAN Card is identical to that for Partnership Firm and LLP.

Pay attention to the following instructions when applying for PAN Card Partnership Firm

  • In the application form, please include your complete name and LLP's details.
  • Any one partner firm or LLP can sign an application by black ink.
  • A photo of the partner is not required, but the signature of the partner should be done at three of same locations as for an individual.
  • With the application, a hard copy will need to be attached.
  • The date of creation of partnership company and LLP will be the date that partnership firm or LLP was created, as stated in the Partnership Deed.
